Materials and Care

Slumber Sleeper™

Organic Cotton: Made in the USA at a certified organic cotton mill. Body 94% Certified Organic Cotton, 6% Spandex.

Cotton: Made of the softest, most luxurious cotton Spandex blends. Body 96% Cotton, 4% Spandex.

Neck, arm, and zipper trims are made with Satin Polyester fabrics. All fabrics are tested and meet the ATSM 1610 standard. All parts and trim are tested and are free of lead or phosphates.

BUILT IN washable and longwearing waterproof lining made from PUL (Polyurethane Laminate) protects mattress. Polyurethane is breathable and allows heat exchange. We use PUL rather than vinyl as vinyl does not breathe so it reflects body heat and moisture back to the child.

Care instructions: Remove sheet before washing. Machine wash separately. Cold water, gentle cycle, no bleach. To dry, unzip sheet and turn inside out. Tumble dry low, no iron. Do not dry clean.

Slumber Swaddle™

Made from a bamboo/rayon blend. Fabrics made from bamboo are softer than the softest cotton and are eco-friendly. Bamboo, a renewable resource, is grown without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Bamboo is nature's most sustainable resource and is naturally regenerative.

Care instructions: Machine wash warm with like colors, no bleach, tumble dry low heat. Do not dry clean or iron.

Slumber Silkie™

Our Slumber Silkie™ is made from the softest Satin and Minky fabrics available. One side is Minky and one side is Satin. All trims are Satin. Minky is 100% Polyester. Luxurious and silky soft, Minky fabric resembles real mink in touch. It has a soft short pile that is as soft as cashmere. It is the ultimate super soft, modern fabric. The large Slumber Silkie™ has a Polyester fill.

Printed Satins (Borders and Backs): 100% Polyester Satin. We use a Charmeuse Satin weave that is softer and lighter in weight than most Satins. The front side of the fabric has a Satin finish whereas the back side of the fabric has a dull finish. Polyester Satin is naturally hypoallergenic, so it can be a wonderful choice for your child. Polyester is also used as a "down like" fill in our large duvet Silkie because it is also considered hypoallergenic. We use the finest and softest Polyester Satins available.

Care instructions: Machine wash cold with like colors, no bleach, hang or lay flat to dry. Do not dry clean or iron.

Slumber Swan™

The Slumber Swan™ is made from 100% Polyester.

Care instructions: Hand Wash Only

All Swanling Slumber products have Polyacetal Resin Snaps attached for use in our patented Snap-in-Place™ system. Polyacetal Resin Snaps are made from a stronger, more durable type of plastic. They are hypoallergenic, more secure than metal snaps and are recommended for baby/toddler items. Polyacetal Resin Snaps have been tested for harmful substances and comply with CPSIA regulations.
